This free home study course is available for continuing education, specifically for nurses in Washington wishing to learn more about supporting a patient in labor and promoting vaginal births. 

To obtain CE for this course, learners must view all 5 videos in any order and pass an online post test with 80% or better, no later than September 15, 2026.

• Identify key ways to support a patient in latent labor
• Verbalize labor support strategies that promote vaginal deliveries
• Describe the benefits of maternal movement during labor
• Identify the role of direct nursing care on the material delivery outcomes
• Verbalize the benefits for intermittent auscultation for a patient in labor
